In Germany, wines are made in a range of styles. Basic Rieslings are classified as QBA (Qualitatswein Bestimmter Anbaugebiete) and are usually fruity and refreshing with medium sweetness. The higher quality Rieslings, Pradikatswein, vary in style according to their particular Pradikat. Kabinett Rieslings are light in body with high acidity and green fruit notes with medium sweetness. Auselese Rieslings have more body and exotic fruit notes (pineapple, mango). This kind of Riesling is dry. Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese are sweet wines from noble rot affected grapes. Eiswein is a sweet wine made from frozen grapes.
