GetWineOnline.com uses Federal Express to ship all wine and liquor products. All shipments are insured against breakage and theft and packaged extremely well to mitigate breakage.
Shipping and handling
fee
The shipping & handling fee includes everything it takes
to get your wine from our warehouse to your shipping destination. These items
include the shipping cost (FedEx), boxes and cardboard, packaging tape and
labor. We package your wine in secure packaging to reduce the chance of
breakage. Each bottle is individually cradled in its own bottle-sized (750ml) cardboard
box inserted into the exterior shipping box. Our breakage rates are extremely
low which is important if you are ordering wine for a special occasion and it
must arrive in good condition.
How to get a shipping
quote
To get a shipping and handling quote, simply add the items
you desire to your shopping cart, enter your zip code and click “update totals” before checking out.

Accepting Delivery
When ordering from GetWineOnline.com, you agree that you are
an adult 21 years or older and accept the responsibility that the package will
be received into the hands of a legal-aged adult. Title of wine passes to you
as soon as it leaves our shipping facility. It is your responsibility to order
within the laws of your own State.
A signature by someone 21 years or older is required by law
to be presented to the FedEx driver upon accepting delivery. There are no
exceptions. If your package was re-routed to a FedEx Office location, please
bring a valid driver’s license to pick up your package.
When possible, we encourage you to ship to your day-time
address, usually a business location, if you are not home during normal FedEx
delivery hours.
Re-Routing Packages
FedEx does not re-route packages containing alcoholic
beverages such as wine and liquor to a new residential or business address. You
can, however, have the package re-routed to the nearest FedEx Office location
once in transit or after their first attempt at home delivery.
