Vinous 91 points - (13.6% alcohol; 3.05 pH, 7. 3 acidity; 1.6 r.s.): Pale yellow. High-toned, very pure aromas of lemon icing, orange peel, honeycomb and oatmeal. Thick but bright and precise on the palate, with penetrating citrus and crushed stone flavors and powerful acidity giving the wine a youthful austerity. Large-scaled and fat but still needs a couple more years in bottle--or the right dish today. Finishes minerally and very long, with lingering notes of lemon and hazelnut oil. A standout South African Chardonnay in my tastings this spring.
