Wine Spectator 89 points - A grippy, charcoal-edged version, with a core of steeped black currant and blackberry fruit flavors liberally studded with singed tobacco, bay and warm cast-iron notes. The finish rumbles with chewy-edged dark earth and plum skin details. With patience in the glass, this reveals fresh acidity, sweet fruit and spice depths and lingering minerality, but you’ll have to work for it; think old-school Brunello. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2019. 1,325 cases imported.
