Wine maker notes
The Grace vineyard is located on a lower elevation, south and east facing portion of the Evenstad Estate. The deep soils and gentle southern slope of the Grace vineyard result in a truly elegant wine that is one of the hallmarks of the Evenstad Estate. The Grace Pinot Noir aroma profile offers a complex array of raspberries, cherries, baking spices and cedar. In the mouth, this wine is smooth and plush, multi-layered, and has elegant tannins and a long, refined finish. Grace vineyard is planted exclusively to Dijon clones 667 and 777 and is named for owner, Grace Evenstad.
Passion and Commitment led Ken and Grace Evenstad to Oregon, more than two decades ago. Propelled by a desire to produce the world’s best Pinot Noir, they founded Domaine Serene in Dundee Hills, located in the Northern Willamette Valley, where Oregon Pinot Noir began - and where its heart remains today.
