Wine Advocate 90 points - The 2012 Nuits Saint Georges Vieilles Vignes comes from vines in the northern part of the appellation and matured in 30% new oak. It has a fragrant floral, feminine bouquet with fine delineation: touches of dried rose petal infusing the red berry fruit. The palate is smooth and sensual, partly carried by the new wood at the moment, although there is plenty of fruit to support it. This is a finely crafted Nuits Saint Georges that will repay two or three years in the cellar.
