Vinous 87 points - Good pale, bright yellow. Deeper on the nose than the Petit Chablis but also a bit shy and metallic, offering scents of lemon and acacia flower. Delivers more sweetness and stuffing, with fruit-driven flavors of lemon and orange carrying nicely on the aftertaste. This fresh, easygoing wine was made from fruit picked during the last two days of the harvest. 87-88 Points (Aug 2015)

The Michel family have been cultivating their passion for tradition and the Chablis terroir since 1850. The winery is situated right in the heart of the village, with the 25-hectare vineyard spread over the very first slopes that were discovered by Cistercian monks in the 11th century. 40 years ago, the family decided to stop making the wine in wooden barrels, preferring to create clean, pure and precise Chablis without adding artificial woody tastes. Through this philosophy, combined with the limited yields inspired by organic wine-growing techniques, the Domaine has developed a worldwide reputation for fine wine-making in stainless steel tanks. Today, the Domaine is managed by Jean-Loup Michel and his nephew, Guillaume Gicqueau-Michel, who is continuing the family tradition.
