Vinous 91 points - Pale, bright yellow. Lively aromas of lemon oil and white flowers. Tight and brisk in the mouth, with a lovely sugar/acid balance to the flavors of lemon, minerals and almond blossom. Boasts more energy and precision than the Charmes, with the almond flower note lifting the finish. Really conveys the vivacity of hillside vines. I did not taste the 2014 Puligny-Montrachet La Quintessence as the assemblage had not yet been made.
