Wine Advocate 88 points - Pale ruby-purple colored, the 2014 The Vincent Grenache has a very peppery nose over a core of crushed red cherries and red currants. Medium-bodied, elegant, fine and fresh in the mouth, it gives plenty of red berry flavor and a savory/peppery finish.  (Jun 2015)

Wine maker notes
This Grenache has been produced from a single, 85 year old vineyard from the high altitude region of Rowland Flat in the renowned Barossa Valley. It has been created in the same time honored fashion in which the Cirillo 1850 Grenache is made, using whole berry open fermentation and basket pressing. The Vincent offers inviting aromas of rich fruit and soft white pepper. The palate is generous with intense true varietal characteristics. The delicately rounded and generous mouth feel denotes the 75 year old Foudre barrels, where this wine has rested for 12 months. A superb Grenache that displays lifted fruit aromas and has a lingering finish. A wine that can be enjoyed now or well into the future.
