Wine Advocate 89 points - The 2012 Q Malbec is sourced from La Consulta and Vista Flores from stony, sandy and calcareous soils in the Uco Valley. Part of the grapes are fermented in full clusters and only a part of the wine goes to barrel, the rest is put in cement without epoxy. The nose is very fresh with red berries and violets, licorice and a chalky minerality. The palate is medium-bodied with some herbaceous freshness, good balance and length, fresh and vertical. A very good Malbec from Uco. Drink 2014-2018. (Apr 2014)
A wine of great personality, with a deep violet color and notes of dark plum, figs and berries.
