Wine Spectator 91 points - Rich and fleshy, this red exudes black currant, blackberry and sweet baking spice flavors, with a layer of dense, refined tannins underneath. Fresh and elegant overall, with fine harmony and a lingering aftertaste. Merlot and Sangiovese. Best from 2017 through 2024. 4,000 cases made.

This is clearly the greatest Luce ever. A wine with currants and blueberries with hints of flowers and spices. A full bodied red with with lots of chocolate, berry and vanilla character. Chewy. Juicy. Better in 2015 to soften and come together. Fabulous blend of 45% sangiovese and 55% merlot.
