|La Galope is a special brand produced by the renowned Domaine de l’Herre’ winery, an historic property founded in 1974 with approximately 130 hectares of vineyards in the heart of Gascony, at the foot of the Pyrenees, in South-West France.
The micro-climate of Gascony and the sand clayey soils make this a perfect terroir for Sauvignon Blanc. The vineyards are cultivated in a low-input process. To minimize the dangerous effects of remedial treatments, the vineyard is constantly monitored, preventive treatments are homeopathic and respect the soil. The vine is tended (pruning, trellising, green harvesting, etc.) in such a way as to ensure that the grapes offer up maximum aromatic precursors.
