Fresh and intensely concentrated, this wine can be enjoyed young or cellared for several years.
Wine Advocate 90 points - The 2015 Sauvignon Blanc has a fragrant nose of elderflower, lavender, lemongrass and fresh herbs with hints of struck match and ground stones. Medium-bodied with a lovely satiny texture and great intensity, it has a lively acid backbone and long savory finish.
The Dog Point Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc shows aromas of ripe tropical fruits, ripecitrus, melon, tangerine on the nose. Textural on the palate, with juicy acidity, minerality, and a refreshing lemon/lime infused finish.
|Grown on clay soils in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley. This soil profile yields a wine with more defined citrus characteristics than the more common gravel soils. Hand-picked and whole-cluster pressed, and then fermented in stainless steel.
