The initial sensation is of the fine Cognac notes, followed by the aromas of dried apricot, hazelnut and oak which finish with a subtle fragrance of orange essence.Very powerful and complex Cognac forward notes with significant hints of orange flavors. The finish is very aromatic, yet results in a balanced assembly of older Cognacs, orange and dried fruit. Enjoy neat or on the rocks.
Ultimate Beverage Challenge 95 points - (UB Collection,Finalist)- Pretty auburn/henna color. Smells out of the aromatic gate like burnt orange peel, chocolate orange, spice cake. Taste profile is supple, tangy, citrusy, and more like clementine than navel orange, but it’s the graceful manner in which the various elements all integrate in the midpalate that makes this a world class spirit.
