Wine maker notes
This Pinot Noir flourishes in the cultivated vineyards around the single vineyard Rollhutt in the immediate vicinity of the winery at an elevation of 450 m. (1,400 ft.). These hills, a conglomerate of particular soils of loam, chalk, and porphyry, and the very well-suited climate, form the ideal basis for producing a Pinot Noir of highest quality.
Red meats, lamb, fowl, and game
In our winegrowing region whose tradition already achieved fame during the period of the Roman emperors, wine, culture, and art have been closely intertwined throughout history: Alto Adige – South Tyrol has been shaped by countless generations of winegrowers as a land of quality wines.
The cultivation of vineyards has been an important part of our family history for almost a century. The third generation still shows the same enthusiasm for wine.
Culture and nature, tradition and innovation, great respect and development, I love and live my environment.
