This wine is made from vines from a uniquely limestone terroir. Round and fat in the mouth, this is a well balanced wine. Excellent drunk young, as an aperitif, or as an accompaniment to seafood, or fish cooked in sauce.
|The Neveu family, viticulteurs father and son, have been based in the heart of the Chavignol vineyards for generations, and today carry on the tradition of the great Sancerrois vignerons.
Valerie (Andre Neveuís daughter), and her husband Thomas, now run the domaine that extends to about 13 hectares of vines of AOC Sancerre red, white and rose.
They harvest, vinify and sell everything themselves.
